This month the focus was getting ready for Unit Elections for the 2006 year. On hand to train our chapter members on how to conduct Unit Elections was Andy Kooiman(left), our Unit Elections Lead. Elections are a very important process in the Order as it is the initial means by which we select new members. With a district as large as North Trail(serving 50 troops) we need as many trained arrowmen as possible to help us meet the demand of elections every spring. This year, we hope to continue on the success of last year's Unit Elections. |  |

In addition to learning about Unit elections, Mike Reisinger(right) talked about all the various opportunities at Philmont that most scouts may not kow about. Mr. Reisinger talked about the high adventure treks as well as the Order of the Arrow Trail Crews that help maintain the camp every year. At the end of the meeting, Mr. Conard(left) awarded some patches to Associate Chapter Advisers for next year. Our webmaster, Jim Slaughter, was amoung those individuals who were recognized. It was a highly succesful meeting and we hope to see everyone again in December. |  |
