The summer is finally over and we just had our first meeting after the break.  This meeting was a planning meeting for the officers to get some input from the Yanush Chapter OA members as to what programs we should have at our meetings this year.  To start of, Brotherhood Warrior Andrew Sears laid out the upcoming events of the lodge and our chapter for everyone to plan their calendars.  Some of the upcoming events are the Council-wide Call-Out, the September Ordeal, and Fall Fellowship.  Also ahead in January, is the District Dinner, which the Yanush Chapter will provide staff for.  Chief Matt Caanen(right) talked about the chapter officer elections, which will be held at the October meeting.  Being an officer is a good way to get involved in the Order of the Arrow and if anyone wishes to run, they should contact our Chapter Adviser, Mr. Conard.  After the initial announcements, the chapter discussed ideas for upcoming meetings.  Some of the suggestions were for ceremonies training, regalia making, photography, wood carving, arrow making, and a movie night.
